If you’re going through a difficult time, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply seeking more clarity and connection, psychotherapy can help.
People decide to embark on psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, and I have some special areas of interest and expertise, including:
- Relationships, such as: intimate partnerships, family patterns, friendships, and the relationship that we hold with ourselves.
- Supporting people through the impacts of trauma, including single traumatic incidents, relational trauma for example: emotional abuse, coercive control, violence, and complex trauma.
- Helping people navigate through changes, including life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause, and other types of changes such as bereavement and loss and life after a relationship break up. These phases and experiences often stir up grief, and identity and self-worth issues.
- Spirituality; whether you have a faith or are just simply searching for meaning and / or integrating spirituality into your life, this too can be brought to sessions and welcomed with openness and curiosity.
I work with people from all walks of life and aim to meet each person where they are at whilst accounting for difference and diversity.
